Your Thoughts
What are your thoughts on the artists who stick their nose into politics?
I do not mind if they campaign for one person, but I do not mind when they perform a concert or some form of entertainment and they begin to make political statements. What are your thoughts? I respect the freedom expression, but if I paid for a gig, I just want to sing or entertain not talk politics, do you?
I guess you do not approve of most of the music of the 60's, 70's and 80's. Have you ever heard of Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Tracy Chapman, Jonie Mitchell Joan Baez, Queen, The Kinks Sex Pistols, Devo, U2, to name a few. Many of their songs have a political content. Most art forms are express yourself. Politics is a part of life. We are fortunate to have the freedom of expression. I think Britney Spears would be a concert without danger to yourself to go.
