Under Orders
If a child support court orders, the custodial parent works not under the table to avoid paying .. what happens?
It is obvious that the child loses, but what is the punishment on "deadbeat" parent, I just want the facts from someone who has experienced this or knows the law. We live in FL. Its for my daughter who has a baby and the father said he does not. He has already told us, it will avoid child support by working under the table. T he evenutally suspended his driver's license? Can he be jailed?
My wife has a child support case Children throughout Florida and have a driver's license suspended. The trick is to keep contact with them. As with all government agencies, the squeaky wheel greased. as far as working under the table, you'll need proof. Child Support will also review the tax returns.
