Why people mistake not wanting to do something for being silly?
I had to deal with it myself all my life, and now I have to deal with the same thing for my sons. When a person doesn't do something that people commonly do, people declare this person silly and try to teach him\her HOW to do it. Nobody usually looks at the motives WHY the person doesn't do it, and there might be very interesting and powerful motives. So the best way to change the behavior would be trying to change those motives or perspective, but people usually ignore that aspect altogether. I wonder why?
been reasonable...People have reason, and plenty of reasons to behave or act in certain ways..culture and intelligence have a big role in that..so i guess we just try to understand the reason of that act, is smarter then putting people down and stick in our silly repetitive live.
