Own Damn
Im using "Damn Small Linux" and want to host my own web site, what other programs do I need?
I want to make a web server so other internet users can view my site and download files. Need to know what software will allow me to host my own site from Damn Small Linux. Thanks in advance!
I would just install XAMPP instead but if you have Linux already install apache, MySQL, PHP and you should be good to go.
You may want to look into no-ip.com or some other DDNS service as well as you will need a static IP address and a domain name of some sort to associate with it so others can get to your site.
