Michael Crichton
Michael Crichton has been gone a year. What do you miss most?
It seems Michael Crichton was a rare genius with talents in a multitude of areas. His books have entertained millions (billions?), and challenged us to learn more about the world around us, science and history, and the inner workings of the mind.
I didn't know about the Yahoo connection. Can you give me a link if you find it?
"Keeping the clock ticking"...what a great way to express it.
Thank you both for sharing.
Not sure if you're aware, but Michael Crichton is the only celebrity to have both answered and asked questions on Yahoo! Answers. I can't seem to find his account now - there used to be a link from Wikipedia, but it's no longer there.
I've only read Jurassic Park, which I found enormously entertaining. There are many scientific reasons that JP could almost certainly never become reality, but what an interesting and fun concept. I also liked the early ER series and I know that he was once a physician. So, respect where it is due.
