How to burn mp3s in audio CDs and dividing them in folders.?
For a long time I have been hearing you can burn mp3s in a CD and at the same time divide the songs according to artist, genre, playlist etc.
The only softwares I have in my computer are windows media, real, I tunes, record now, can I do it? or I need other softwares.
Most softwares has burning options. You have to choose "Burn MP3 CD" not "Audio CD". Then you'll be able to create folders. You probaby already know this but MP3 cds take more songs than a regular audio cd. MP3 cds take about a 150 songs. If your car plays mp3 cds you will be able to play them and use the folders instead of using a cd changer.
I used to use Nero to do this and it was easy to create folders. Windows Media Player doesnt seem to have the MP3 CD option anymore and I think with Real Player you have to purchase the premium version to do so.
I looked at iTunes and I was able to figure out how to make a mp3 cd but I couldnt create folders in the playlist. Here is how to create a mp3 cd (incase you dont already know):
-----
Choose Edit--> Preferences.
Choose the Advanced tab--->Burning
Then comes out a list of CD type you can burn. Choose MP3 CD.
As you probably know you'll have to create a playlist and add the songs to it before you can burn in iTunes.

I would suggest to email itunes costumer service to see if you can create folders within the cd with iTunes. If not then go to download.com and look for mp3 cd burning softwares. You'll probably find some free ones too.
Good luck
