Banker's Life and Casualty invited me to an interview for "program management training sales" every incentive?
After Having reviewed my application on Monster.com, Life and Casualty Company bank want me to interview for a position in sales management training. What exactly is it? Is it management or sales? I spent the last 5 years working in retail management. What type of compensation can I expect? I am in the Las Vegas area. Thank you!
I worked when I was younger. My advice is run far and fast. Bakers is famous to hire someone. The first thing they will do is tell you to sell your soft market. In other words, hit your family and friends and sell them life insurance. It is true that this is a numbers game, but whoever is running the number of sales management. They work similar to a marketing company multilevel in that the manager above you are paid more riding on what you produce. In addition, when you leave, the manager takes you above the accounts you have created. Therefore, it is in the best interest of managers to bring in a large number of people and sell them. They get 30 people who will each sell an average of 2 policies. Of the original 30 half of people will leave the first month. The second months the manager will be left with only a couple of the 30 original. They then repeat the process again. Finally, I leave you with this. My wife never sold a thing in his life. His degree is in Industrial Engineering and they recruit him on a regular basis saying based on his experience, it would be great for sales management.
