how comes shops like myer and david jones are expensive?
i went there once...like one dress is abt $120!...that's expensive right?

Yes, they are expensive. Don't even bother walking into David Jones! Myer isn't as expensive as David Jones but more expensive than Target. Target is less expensive than Myer but more expensive than Big W. I don't know what age group you are in but I find the small independant stores to be great. Also shops like Valley Girl and SES are very well priced. One day when you have time go to a large Westfield shopping centre. Start at either the top level or the bottom level and go past every shop. Go into any that may have women's clothing. Write down any that seem like they have reasonable prices. Although there may be nothing you like at the time they may have other clothes another time. Also sometimes shops do have great specials so keep a look out for those. But if you need a lot of clothes quickly at cheap prices (which pretty much look like the fashionable stuff in the more expensive stores) I would suggest Valley Girl as the best place to start.
