lol Yeah I would tell you to wait until either August 24 is closer or Mockingjay has already been released to read the Hunger Games series. 
It's that good, you won't want to have to wait. I have to wait.

I don't know which one of those books you should read next. Though I hear very good things about Beautiful Creatures. I haven't read it yet even though I *have* it, but I hear it is so good. People are falling in love with it all over the place.
As for which book you should *get* first... I would definitely have to recommend Vampire Academy. It is my absolute favorite series ever. I loved the first book, but the rest of the series just gets better and better.

The Hunger Games and Vampire Academy are two of my most favorite series. Even my sister loves them both, and she doesn't love to read. She can't wait to read Catching Fire (book 2 of the Hunger Games series) and she's way excited for Spirit Bound's release this May!!
