Why is there so much Homophobia?
I'm ot sure if this question has been asked before but why do some people have a mortal fear of gays to the point that they commit hate crimes.
Being gay is just a preference not a disease (similar to why some like blue and others like red etc) so then what's up with them.
The greeks and romans had no problem with it, then what happened?

This word is to overused to stir up emotional appeal and ad hominem arguments. I hope it goes the way of male chauvinist pig that had a similar run 30 years ago.
That said, things have also vastly improved for the gay community around the Western world; especially in my life time of 50 years.
