First Words
When did your LO say their first words?
When did they say a first word besides ""mama, dada or baba" and what were the words?
My son only said words like "mum" "dada" etc until well over one year of age.
My daughter said her first understandable sentence at 11 months and her father and I almost fell off our chairs in shock. It was "Can I have some Dad." Having said that she has gone on to do everything early, is reading fluently now and doing maths in her head (shes four) but on the negative side she is not at all emotionally mature.
I think she is not the norm but my son probably is the norm, all kids are different and reach their milestones different times. As long as they are happy and healthy!
