Company Great
If you have a great career at a great company, would you leave and go to another great company for more money?
I would be doing the same thing and both companies are well established. The new company would pay me 17% more in salary and benefits. I have been there for about 3 years but they are not willing to pay me what I want.
My friend at my job had this similar issue. He was going to leave because he was offered 33% higher salary for the same work, except the other company had worse benefits. The work culture is great at our job and everybody is generally happy (We are mostly in our early to mid 20s).
Long story short he left for the money and finds the work culture there very dry, boring, and restricted. He is now strongly considering coming back.
I would ask "What is the work culture like", and when you come in for an interview try to see the expressions on the other workers faces. If its another good situation, then take it. Otherwise stay where your at, money is not an equal substitute for being happy.
