Who is the best African American baseball player in the MLB?
Seeing it as baseball has a very small sum of African American players (Which is not cool). Who is the best in your opinion? I have a couple, it's hard for me. Here's some notables though..
Jimmy Rollins, Ken Griffey Jr, Curtis Granderson, Jermaine Dye, and Tori Hunter,
I meant currently, not of all time.
Hanley Ramirez and Mariano Rivera is not "African American".

I just wanted to add a little comment to your question. You say that it is 'not cool,' but the truth is it is so much easier to get 10 people together to play basketball or even 22 people together to play football, because the only thing you need to play a pick-up game for either of these sports is one ball. For a pick-up baseball game, everyone needs gloves, you need at least one ball and one bat. A vast majority of urban inner-city kids are African American and also a vast majority of their families are well below the poverty line (not a racist or stupid comment, but a fact), so it is so much easier for them to learn to play either football or basketball then it is baseball because it is cheaper.
